WHO WE ARE
HISTORY OF BARINGO HIGH SCHOOL
The school was founded in 1st August 1965 as a Day Harambee School under the sponsorship of African Inland Mission (A.I.M) now African Inland Church (A.I.C) on land donated by the Church. It started with 40 students as a mixed school, 10 girls and 30 boys. Mrs. Newman was the founder of the school and was the co-headmistress, to the headmaster Mr. William Baruett as from August 1965 to October 1965.
Since then, the school has continued growing in terms of physical facilities, number of students, nonteaching staff and teachers.
