Preparing for Grade 10 Learners

Baringo High School is fully prepared to receive Grade 10 learners under the Competency-Based Education (CBE) system as guided by the Ministry of Education and the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD).

CBE focuses on nurturing learners’ skills, talents, values, creativity, and career interests while maintaining strong academic foundations. Our goal is to develop responsible, innovative, and self-driven learners ready for higher education, the world of work, and community leadership.

Entry into Grade 10

Learners are admitted to Grade 10 after successful completion of Grade 9.

Admission requirements include:

  • All requirements are indicated in the admision letter but where you have doubts and requiremclarification, please call 0202001879 during office hours. 

Learners are guided through a career and pathway selection process to ensure their strengths, interests, and abilities are well matched.

Baringo High School offers the following approved CBE pathways:

Subjects include: Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Studies

Career pathways: Medicine, Engineering, Architecture, ICT, Data Science, Research, Environmental Science, etc.

Learning at Baringo High School under CBE is:
